HACKING ARTS

HACKING ARTS

Facilitating interdisciplinary thinking at an elite institution.

The Call: Bring together student ingenuity, powerful partners, and forward-thinking experts to inspire the future at the intersection of arts, entrepreneurship, and technology.

The Outcome: A hybrid hackathon and conference format that served as an ongoing platform for driving interdisciplinary thinking at an elite institution.

The Impact: Hundreds of connections made and real world ventures created.

Part conference, part hackathon, and part exhibition, Hacking Arts at MIT explored the intersection of creative enterprise, technology, and entrepreneurship. As the festival co-director, I ensured this was more than a theoretical exercise in imagining the future—we’re actively building it together! By challenging emerging talent and industry leaders alike to use arts-based processes to rapidly prototype future possibilities, participants combined their unique knowledge across three days to bring forward truly original designs.

The journey began by setting the stage—bringing together exceptional talent in fine arts, creative technology, and business alongside reputable
brands and industry leaders…

Co-creating compelling provocations with our partners opened a space for creativity, innovation, and learning.

In this space, sparks became flames, forging lasting connections and fueling new ventures with real impact.
